The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship is held by the American Kennel Club every year and this year the show will take place in December in Long Beach, California. More than 3,000 dogs from 133 different breeds come from all over the world, by invitation only, to compete. Only seven will go to the final best in show competition.

Depart your home city for L.A., or use our included airfare from Atlanta on Delta Airlines. After our exciting and informative tour, we’ll stop for lunch at the legendary Musso & Frank Grill. Hollywood’s oldest eatery, opened in 1919, is steeped in history. It has always been a popular destination for Hollywood's elite, including movie stars, film directors, producers and great writers of the time and it counts amongst it's most famous past customers the likes of Humphrey Bogart and Charlie Chaplin to more recent visitors such as Brad Pitt, Al Pacino and The Rolling Stones.

Today is a full day at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship. We’ll depart the hotel together this morning on our private deluxe motorcoach transportation. Our shuttle will make regular trips throughout the day so you can come and go as you like. Celebrating the 126th year of the American Kennel Club, the show features the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship as well as the Agility Invitational and the National Obedience Invitational. Spend the day watching the “beauty show” dogs compete, or view the other events going on throughout the day. Lunch on your own at one of the multitude of nearby restaurants. B
Today is a second full day of dog show antics. Don’t forget to see the “Meet the Breeds Event,” a special area where you can meet the AKC’s 158 breeds of dog and talk to breed experts. We want you to enjoy your day watching perfectly groomed pups compete for the title, and this evening do not miss the final Best in Show! Shuttle arrangements are the same as Saturday. If you want a quick break from the dog show, there are many nearby spots and attractions to dine, shop and explore. B
